The Social Security Sell Out

Dear Readers:

It is 2012 and the battle lines are drawn. It is not Republican v.s. Democrat. It is not Obama vs. who ever. It is a government, state and federal vs. the people who they are suppose to work for. The battle is whether they will continue to work for us (supposedly) or we become drones of the state. Get your arms around that.

Believe at this point in time our government thinks of us as the enemy. Do not forget that the media for all intents and purposes is on the side of the established government and at this point in time truth is the first casualty.

You were told before the holidays that 160 million people face a tax increase. The real debate that went on was whether to raid the social security trust fund for future recipients or not. You were not told this because the media kept out of the stories anyone who framed the debate that way. You and I know social security is broke. So how can de-funding the only mechanism that funds it be a tax increase?

Since forever, we have been told that it is the Republicans that wish grandma to eat cat food. This last debate showed one and all it is the Democrats, RINO Republicans and the media that wants to do that. It was the onslaught of stories about there being a possible tax increase, complete with phony polls. The cowardly Republican leadership caved again and so we have now turned an insurance program into another welfare program. This proved again that when Republicans compromise, it is their principals that are sacrificed.

The Conservative Republican base was right to initially vote no and stick to their principals. They were defeated by politicians and media that put their selfishness above the country's self interest. They successfully were able to confuse the electorate and blur the lines between selfish and self interest.

Our Congresswoman Nan Hayworth was right in her initial vote. State Republicans should have supported her. They did not. Even our own phoney conservative State Senator Ball sent out a press release condemning her for her vote on our behalf. He too, believed raiding the social security trust fund was a good thing.

2010 was not an aberration. Party leaders, the media and ruling class elected official want you to believe it was. In 2010 the voters started to take back their government. The battle continues in 2012. You must remind those in office that your anger has not abated. Only you can defend your freedoms. If you abdicate your duty, not only will we get four more years of this, the establishment will double down and freedom as we know it will be the final casualty. This is my opinion, you may beg to differ.
