The Establishment Republican Plot Against Conservatives

Dear Readers:

So, Herman Cain is out of the race for the Republican nod in the quest for the Presidency. The establishment Republican have another scalp. Yes, I said Republicans, establishment Republicans. It is way too early for the Democrats to bring out the long knives. Make no mistake, they would, if the Republicans were so busy eating their own as is their want.

The reality is the establishment want Mitt Romney. The polls show it. However the polls also show the establishment represent about only 25% of the primary voters. So the only way the establishment can get their way is to dirty the anybody but Romney candidate. Now it will be Newt Gingrich's turn. However, unlike the others, Newt is a known quantity. Much tougher bring out new dirt, as the old dirt has been aired infinitum.

Why, you ask, is the Republican establishment taking out the anti-Romey candidates? One would think that the objective is the Presidency. One would be wrong. This is about control of Congress and the Senate. The establishment believes Obama can beat Romney, as Mitt is just a younger version of McCain politically, willing to sacrifice Republican principal to appear reasonable. We know how that kind of candidate ends up.

This is about money and power and who controls the levers of both. As for power, it is about committee chairmanships and the ability to dole out money and allow or prevent political appointments and legislation. It is the ruling class cementing their entrenchment. As for money, they know the Obama will veto any legislation that rolls back his political agenda. They know they will not have the votes to override. So they will go back to the voters time and time again, and blame Obama for high taxes, high energy, and socialized medicine.

The final outcome is the establishment will have all that money at their disposal. The conservative or tea party movement, if you will is a direct threat to this scheme. Get your arms around it is about power, money and the ruling class and not about you. If you do that, all that is about to unfold before the first primary vote next year will be clear. The only thing that stands in the way is an educated voter. It is your duty to educate yourself. This is my Opinion, you may beg to differ.
