Bazzo At Work Exclusive:Greg Ball Loses Support From Tea Party….Maybe!

Dear Readers:

According to my sources:

The answer is yes. My sources tell me that by the end of the week, State Senator Greg Ball will face a primary challenge from the right. This is not unexpected. In fact I predicted it. I asked the question "what gain you (Ball) to get a few Democrat votes and lose your Conservative base?".

You can read my "Open Letter To Greg Ball" (12/19/11) here:

One can not vote for tax increases, stand against hydro-fracking, talking like a Democrat and keep your Conservative support.

Taxes:

No matter the spin, Greg last December did vote for a tax increase. To say one group even though they will see a tax increase it will be less then it would have been, is still a tax increase. To try to convince people otherwise not only insults one's inelegance, it is political logic of one who is showing signs of ruling class mentality.

Hydro-fraking:

To adopt the language of the anti-fossil fuel zealots, even though he has held this position since his days in the Assembly, ignores all progress made in hydro-fracking science. The days of gas and chemical leaks into water tables in Pennsylvania and other states have long since been eradicated. This is now an issue of private sector union and non-union jobs in a state that needs them now.

Talking like a Democrat:

Terms like "millionaires and billionaires is strictly out of the Democrat and Obama class warfare play book. Conservatives do not pit one class against another. Conservatives know that you do not improve peoples lives by punishing the successful, but by making it possible that all people, no matter their circumstances can succeed if government gets out of the way.

You can see the Senator use these terms in his appearance on the "Bruce The Blog Goes Bazzo" TV show
linked here:

Like I said, this was not unexpected. Maybe even necessary. It seems that Senator Ball, trying to find acceptance with the establishment Republican Party forgot he was elected to fight them not join them. It was not the establishment the got him elected it was the "tea party" and Conservatives that elected him. Hell hath no fury than a Conservative scorned.
As this is not a social issues election but an economic/energy security election, his social conservatism rating will not help him this time.
