YORKTOWN ORGANIZATIONS UNITED

About Yorktown Organizations United

YOUnited (Yorktown Organizations United) is the result of highly successful and well-attended Town Hall meetings organized by Town of Yorktown Supervisor Michael Grace when he started his first term of office in January 2012. Two years later, YOUNITED is proud to have become a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community foundation incorporated in the state of New York, with the legal supervision of a Board of Trustees and By-Laws.

As stated in the By-Laws, YOUnited "serves as a clearinghouse and umbrella for support group for community-based organizations within the Town of Yorktown, as well as a resource for the receipt and dissemination of non-specific funds that may become available through corporate and private community responsibility programs or other means."

YOUNITED's Board of Trustees meets the first Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in the offices of the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce at 3635 Crompond Rd 10567 (Parkside Corner, Route 202)
.

To attend a meeting as a non-voting member, please contact us in advance at YOUNITEDNY@GMAIL.COM or (914) 275-6887.

Hello Friend:

How are you? I hope all is well.

It's been a busy, busy year as Joe and I have been building/running Black Stone, our new marketing/technology company (www.BlackStoneTexas.com)!

I am actually back in the area for a couple of weeks around Thanksgiving!

Last year, I promised to keep my Annual Veteran's Thanksgiving Dinner going, and we have done so!

We are now asking for help from school, community, veterans groups etc to make this event another great success. We are still seeking volunteers day of and donations of turkeys (must be over 20 lbs) or supermarket gift cards for the event.

VETERAN'S THANKSGIVING DINNER, NOVEMBER 21 @ PUTNAM GOLF CLUB

We have nearly 500 veterans and their families that will be attending the 5th Annual Veterans Thanksgiving Dinner on November 21st at Putnam County Golf Club! If you would like to be involved, or know of others who would like to volunteer please let me know.

If you would like to donate a turkey please contact Suzi McDonough at suzi5mcdonough@gmail.com or (914) 403-8463.
