COTTAGES & GARDENS PUBLICATIONS TO LAUNCH
SAN FRANCISCO EDITION
Award-Winning Shelter Magazine Continues Expansion With Westward Move

Norwalk, CT- September 30, 2013-Cottages & Gardens Publications, known for its oversized luxury design magazines, will be launching a new West Coast publication, SFC&G (San Francisco Cottages & Gardens) in April 2014.

The announcement was made at the sold-out NYC&G Innovation in Design Awards in New York City on September 18th, to cheers and applause from the captains of the design industry who were in attendance that evening.

"That NYC&G will soon have a West Coast sister publication reflecting the 'sense of place' that is so unique to San Francisco and Northern California seems to be the most natural thing in the world," said Marianne Howatson, CEO & Publication Director. "Our magazines are beloved for their intimate connection with the communities they serve and bring to life the essential character of the places they represent."

Those places represented in SFC&G will cover the Bay Area-from the tony neighborhoods in San Francisco, to the affluent suburbs of Marin County, the East Bay, Silicon Valley, Carmel, Napa and Sonoma.

"I am delighted about the launch of SFC&G (San Francisco Cottages & Gardens)," said Rhonda Hirata, Director of Marketing of the San Francisco Design Center, "Northern California is getting a beautiful oversized regional design magazine that is focused on the Bay area. The Cottages & Gardens brands are known for their superior graphics and highlight the best of architecture, interior design and garden design that will reflect this dynamic, affluent and sophisticated region"

SFC&G will continue to deliver to its upscale demographic of multiple homeowners with $880,000+ average household income. Circulation will be through subscriptions, newsstands and place-based circulation to reach passionate consumers of design. The magazine's circulation will be audited, as are the three other titles by Alliance for Audited Media (the new Audit Bureau of Circulations/ABC).
