Bazzo Says:The New York State Of Sanctuary And Corruption

Bazzo Says:

BY ANTHONY J. BAZZO
OF YORKTOWN NEWS
TITLE: The New York State Of Sanctuary And Corruption

......A person I am acquainted with is rear ended in a CAR accident in Mahopac recently.   That person's car is totaled, but the driver, though shaken, was also relatively un harmed.  The driver of the car was also unharmed.  He hit my acquaintance who was stopped at a stop sign, while driving approximately 45 miles an hour.

1) The diver who hit my acquaintance was uninsured. 2) The driver who hit my acquaintance was unlicensed.  3)  The driver who hit my acquaintance admitted to the officer on the scene that he was in this country illegally.  4) The officer on the scene issued the driver who hit my acquaintance multiple summons.

Accidents like these happen multiple times a day, maybe even to you.  So why is this particular one on my radar?  Being that New York is a sanctuary state, it recognizes that accidents like these will happen.  So as not to completely punish the innocent, on your car insurance policy is a mandatory payment in your premium to what is called the "uninsured motorist fund".  It is from this fund that my acquaintance must seek relief.

So the question begged to asked is, if the driver who hit my acquaintance committed multiple wrongs, what makes one think this driver will appear in court to answer the summons?  Another question, why was not the driver who hit my acquaintance not arrested for driving without a licence (proof of identity) and without insurance?

......The Moreland Commission To Investigate Public Corruption has issued a preliminary report.  It did not name names, but did report: 1) The Legislature funneled millions of dollars into a New York City store front that was home to multiple non-profits that stated the provide medical services.  Videos of this store front showed few and far between, people coming and going, also only one employee on site.  2) A corporate entity owned by a legislator receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars in state grants.  3) Lawmakers use money in their campaign finance accounts to pay for jobs for relatives, cloths and even cigars.  They also use these accounts to fund their cars, while submitting per-diems for reimbursement for travel expenses from the tax payers. In simple terms this is called double dipping.   It reports one state senator billed the state for $50,275.00 in vehicle related expenses and $15,884.00 in mileage expenses over four years.

In a story in the December 4 edition  of the Daily News, on prominent member of the commission Joanie Mahoney, Onondaga County Executive,  stated "I think we are making a mockery of this whole process if we try to pretend that a group of us appointed by the Attorney General or the Governor is investigating the Attorney General or the Governor."    This in spite of the Attorney General being on record as saying "the commission jurisdiction and is fully empowered to investigate all parts of New York State government."

The answer to all this alleged malfeasance according to the commission is public financing of campaigns.  Exactly the same answer our Governor recommends.  Amazing!  The commission in visions a system like the one used by New York City.  Just what we need another pot of gold for the Legislature to get their hands on.  If one looks at the recent spate arrests and convictions of City officials gaming the campaign finance system with straw donors, you can see how well that works out for the residents of New York City.  Now the commission and the Governor wants to unleash this on us.  How long will it take for the voters of this state to recognize the Governor as the phoney he is?  When will the New York State Republican Party realize this man can be beat?  This is what I say, what say you?
